Jobless plus Hopeless
An interesting thing one executive said was that there is no shame in work, but there's plenty of shame in waiting for charity.

Not giving Gold Medals in KU Annual convocation 2011 -A very good Decision
Its a very good decision by KU Administration to not giving gold medals to the position holders because everyone knows how they got positions in their respective discipline. Karachi University administration said that due to unavailability of sponsors we are unable to give gold medals to position holders. The main cause behind no interest of sponsors in giving sponsorship for gold medal might be they knows about checking system in KU.They have seen that what KU's gold medalist do in market after passing out.

Popularity of Hum Tv's Drama serial "Humsafar" especially in India
Drama Serial Humsafar is going with flying colors towards its end.Every one was expecting Episode no. 22 as a last Episode due to magical preview of Episode 22 after Episode 21 on 18 February 2012.But now every one is expecting Episode 23 as last episode. However the mystery of humsafar last episode kept in secret by Humsafar producer Sarmad Sultan Khoosat.
Humsafar has created history all over the world.Specially in Pakistan it has recalled memories of late 80's when families went to marriage ceremonies or in parties after watching their favorite drama serials.Streets and roads remained Vacuous.Drama serial humsafar has broken all previous records made by all golden PTV dramas. This is true in a sense because when dramas like "Dhoop Kinarey" , "Ankahi", "Uncle Urfi" , "50-50" and others were hit, that time viewers did not had any other channel as a choice to switch. In today's world of Globalization, a single remote can tell you taste of viewers. But it has been seen that at the time when drama serial "HUMSAFAR" goes on-air from Hum Tv , the rush of traffic goes at its peak both on TV sets and on the internet.
India whose dramas channels were on the top rating in subcontinent specially in Pakistan previously.Humsafar has also captured attentions of Indian populations towards itself. It seems to be a big achievement by a Pakistani drama in recent years that a single drama of Pakistani channel has defeated all previously hit soaps of STAR PLUS. In fact Pakistani ladies have forgot the name and channel number of Star Plus on their TV sets.Same was seen in India where during Humsafar timing rating of Hum Tv goes at peak and all entertainment channels in India are facing low rating during "Humsafar hours".Indian ladies have gone crazy about Khirad's wardrobe. They forgot their typically star plus sarees.
The difference between Humsafar and Star Plus 's Soaps commented by Humsafar lovers on forum is that humsafar do not have such types of crazy foolish women politics as much as Indian dramas has.Humsafar has all flavors of life with balance ingredients. You can not say it as a drama which is completely based on bloody women politics , loves, hates or something else too much. All things are balanced.
An important thing of humsafar is that it is Pakistan's most costly drama serial ever in Pakistan Drama history. It cost more than 3.5 million in making but till now it is doing business in Billions.According to our resources from Hum Tv ,drama serial Humsafar 's each episode selling price is almost 1.5 billion, plus it is receiving advertisement revenue as most demanding serial by viewers.
Hero of drama Humsafar Fawad Afzal Khan as "Asher" and Mahira Khan as "Khirad" got millions of fans on facebook and twitter after Humsafar success all over the world.Fans are making fake pages of Fawad & Mahira 's on facebook.Their are lot many fan pages of Drama serial Humsafar on Facebook.Fans goes crazy as they see any new pic of Fawad or Mahira on facebook.Every pics spread like a burning fire on every profiles and pages just after few minutes of uploading by fan page owners.

Bible in which 'Jesus predicts coming of Muhammad' unearthed in Turkey
A secret Bible in which Jesus is believed to predict the coming of the Prophet Muhammad to Earth has sparked serious interest from the Vatican.
Pope Benedict XVI is claimed to want to see the 1,500-year-old book, which many say is the Gospel of Barnabas, that has been hidden by the Turkish state for the last 12 years.
The £14million handwritten gold lettered tome, penned in Jesus' native Aramaic language, is said to contain his early teachings and a prediction of the Prophet's coming.
It was closely guarded until 2010, when it was finally handed over to the Ankara Ethnography Museum, and will soon be put back on public display following a minor restoration.
A photocopy of a single page from the handwritten ancient manuscript is thought to be worth £1.5million.
Turkish culture and tourism minister Ertugrul Gunay said the book could be an authentic version of the Gospel, which was suppressed by the Christian Church for its strong parallels with the Islamic view of Jesus.
He also said the Vatican had made an official request to see the scripture - a controversial text which Muslims claim is an addition to the original gospels of Mark, Matthew, Luke and John.
In line with Islamic belief, the Gospel treats Jesus as a human being and not a God.

Pakistani media silence on Quran Burning incident by Terrorist forces in Afghanistan
Karachi-Routers, Pakistani media kept in silence after a big incident of burning Qur'an Pak in Afghanistan by US forces. It is noted that Pakistani media shows all anti Islamic culture activities with full colors and by mixing different types of flavors in it which seems to be very interesting to viewers and channels get high rating through these cheap things
.A very good example is recent 14 February Valentine Day coverage by Pakistani media. They broadcasted dramas , shows, interviews just like that it was a religious or cultural festival in Pakistan.Islam do not allow such types of Valentine Day.But in the race of rating, Pakistani media have forgot all their beliefs and actual duties. They can show haram death (Suicide) by individual due to any financial or social problem with full coverage and make him hero as the one who did suicide becomes hero in front of world which provides perfect idea to a person who does not want to work and he tried same in front of parliament or in the presence of media to collect a big amount of money from government officials.
A well known TV channel "JEW NEWS" ( GEO NEWS) is also in silence might be their father's or officials (JEWS) has warned them to not show this types of incidents coverage.Other wise this group works against the name of their channel GEO and it mostly shows pictures of death, suicides, murders specially robberies & kidnapping activities. If you will visit their office you can see the real image drawn in above line clearly. They can change their channel logo to black just for protest against ban on their group but after this type of big incident they should wear black suits and should work against NATO forces in Afghanistan but Geo team are planning to celebrate "Leap year" this week.
The other group "Express media group" is not working according to their theme which is " Har khabar pe Nazar". They have eyes on just bollywood movies, songs and entertainment world. If you will by daily express you can pass your full day easily by reading interesting and spicy gossips from all fields of life.
I think all channels like Samaa tv, Ary News, Duniya News, Geo News, Express News should unite on one platform & should start work against US & Nato forces in Iraq and Afghanistan as CNN & BBC is working against Muslim world. The high official of media groups which I think probably be a Muslim should kept this thing in their mind that what else US forces & NATO army is doing and what CNN, BBC & other western media is doing all are insulting Muslims and being a Muslim Pakistani media also included in being assault by western media.
After burning of Holy Qur'an, more than 30 people have been killed, including four U.S. troops, in six days of unrest. Still, the top U.S. diplomat in Afghanistan said the violence would not change Washington's course .
"Tensions are running very high here, and I think we need to let things calm down, return to a more normal atmosphere, and then get on with business," Ambassador Ryan Crocker told CNN's "State of the Union."
"This is not the time to decide that we're done here," he said. "We have got to redouble our efforts. We've got to create a situation in which AL-Qaida is not coming back."
U.S. Major and colonel killed in Afghanistan as protests continue over Quran burning
All American and international advisers today deserted Afghan government buildings after two senior US officers were murdered in their office at the interior ministry in Kabul.
The unnamed colonel and major were shot in the head at the high security compound at the heart of the Afghan government,
Reports suggest they were shot in the ministry's command and control centre. The compound would have been crawling with Afghan police.
The killing of the two high ranking US military advisers- is thought to be retaliation for American troops burning copies of the Koran - as bitter protests over the controversial actions enter their fifth day.
NATO earlier issued a statement confirming the two deaths.
It said.'Initial reports indicate an individual turned his weapon against International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) service members in Kabul City today [Saturday], killing two servicemembers.'
NATO spokesman Lt. Col Jimmie Cummings said 'initial reports say it was not a Western shooter.' He declined to provide further information.
NATO forces have advisers embedded in many Afghan ministries, both as trainers and to help manage the transition to Afghan control and foreign forces prepare to withdraw by the end of 2014.
The Afghan Interior Ministry oversees all of the country's police, so has numerous NATO advisers.
Incitement to mutiny: Officers accused of influencing Brig Ali’s trial
Talking to the BBC, a younger brother of Brig Ali Khan said that his elder brother was not being allowed to meet his civil attorney, making the family believe that the court martial proceedings would not be transparent.
Malik Bashir said that he and his lawyer, Asad Manzoor Butt, arrived at the Sialkot garrison to see Brig Ali with a prior permission from the authorities but the counsel was not allowed to see his client.
The military authorities insist that only a military-appointed defence counsel can see Brig Ali. “This is violation of rules and we are considering consulting civil courts against this behaviour,” he said.
Brig Ali was taken into custody from his office in the GHQ on May 6. Meanwhile, investigations were being carried out against him for his alleged links with Hizbut Tehrir extremist group.
According to the charge sheet, Brig Ali is accused of inciting mutiny against the civilian government and plotting with some military officers and civilians to attack the GHQ. He had tried to take support from the chief of the Triple-One Brigade and some other officers.
Bashir alleged that some senior army officers were using delaying tactics in initiating the court martial proceedings against his brother. He added that according to rules, formal proceedings of the Field General Court Martial should have started immediately after the framing of the charge sheet. “The prosecution does not have any evidence against my brother and they are just dilly dallying and taking revenge.”
Bashir said his family has been serving the military for 60 years and wanted to solve the issue within the army. “But these injustices are forcing us to take the case to civil courts, though this is not our priority,” he added.
Bashir requested the army brass to refrain from influencing the proceedings of the Field General Court Martial and allow Brig Ali a fair trial. He said if the military authorities did not influence the court, he was quite sure his brother would prove innocent.

UBL Wiz Internet Card sucks- A wondeful scam by United bank limited Pakistan
I have recently took UBL's Internet Wiz card by too much searching & visiting more than 8 branches.UBL is not giving this card easily and is making fool to customers. Every branch is speaking lie that they don't have stationary items right now & they have e-mailed it to head office for further cards ,so kindly visit another branch.
I asked before using this card for online shopping (International Transaction) from customer officer that is there any other charges other than price of goods like interest or something else of UBL on WIZ INTERNET CARD..Like if you will buy from Credit card of any bank it will cost you 2% of transaction amount. But officer told me that there is no charges of UBL INTERNET WIZ CARD on using it for shopping online internationally, all charges and cost belongs to merchant only, same thing were told me by UBL CSR (Call center Representative). However on the website of UBL they clearly show that on RS.250 & higher transaction 3% of transaction amount tax from UBL will applicable. So I think that if I 'll do Rs.1000 transaction it will cost me only 30 RS. but when I did transaction which was $6.84 from Godaddy UBL Debited my account to RS.926.The prevailing exchange rate is around Rs.91-92.Let consider Rs.92 so It should not cost me more than RS.630 and if we will plus charges it should not cost more than Rs.20 but UBL charged me Rs.300 which is 50% of total transaction. And it comes to my knowledge after reading some discussion online that it will charge me Rs.300 every time I will do international transaction. If it is this than what is cool behind this sucking card. The simplest thing is to open a bank account in any commercial bank which gives you VISA DEBIT CARD 600+ tax / year.It will not cost you any further sucking charges in shape of "Transaction charges" or "session charges".UBL should tell every customer facts behind their fucking scamming campaign or they should close this service as soon as possible.

UK visit: Khar expected to meet Clinton in London
Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar is expected to meet US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her visit to London, sources told The Express Tribune.
The expected meeting will be a positive sign for the two countries as both of them were keen to normalise relations, the source said.
Khar reached London on Monday for a three-day visit in which she will hold meetings with her British counterpart William Hague and other high officials. She will also brief the UK officials on the recently concluded trilateral conference involving, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan in Islamabad. Khar will also reportedly ask the British officials to influence the US to end drone strikes.
Meanwhile, official sources have revealed that diplomatic ties between Pakistan and the US are improving behind the scenes. It has been decided by Islamabad, Kabul and Washington to reactivate the trilateral conference between the three countries, the source claimed.
Khar and Clinton are expected to discuss Nato supplies to Afghanistan, among other issues.
The meetings could defuse tension, which was highlighted recently when Islamabad refused to host Marc Grossman, the US special envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan, who wanted to visit Islamabad last month. The State Department had said that Grossman wanted to visit Pakistan but owing to the tense relations between the two countries, he was refused meetings. The State Department’s spokesman, while making this disagreement public, had said that the US wants better relations with Pakistan.
Officials in the ministry of foreign affairs expect Pak-US relations to be fully normalised by March. Pakistan has already softened its stance on Nato supplies to Afghanistan through Pakistan, as supplies through Pakistani airspace are fully open.
Islamabad, despite its tense relations with Washington, is facilitating US-Afghan Taliban talks in Qatar, the source said. “Pakistan had encouraged talks between Taliban and United States at the request of Washington. Apparently Pakistan has been sidelined by Washington in its talks with the Taliban but the actual situation is not as it appears,” the source added.
Story time: Mind-blowing!
The blackboard and my biology teacher slid in and out of focus as I tried to keep track of what was being taught to us. Beside me, I could see my partner Sherbano struggle to keep her mouth from hanging open, making her look witless.
Behind me, Aryba was carefully applying nail polish to her inch-long talons using my back to hide herself from the teacher’s line of vision. Two rows away Urooj and Wania were playing tick-tack-toe on a scrap of paper… That’s what friends are for, to make you feel better.
Incidentally the topic being explained was ‘The human brain’. “The human brain is an incredibly complex organ; it’s capable of doing things that would be considered miracles in some ways. After millennia of research, scientists have barely started to scratch the surface of the true potential of the brain…”
My teacher paused to add some labels to the drawn figure on the board before continuing, “Have you ever wondered how amazing it is? I mean aside from the fact that it controls all physical bodily functions, is responsible for secreting hormones that outline a person’s mood and all the rest of biological entities. It allows you to think, remember, memorise, judge, form logic and detect patterns. It is a person’s last sanctuary, it protects a person’s privacy, their secrets and feelings that they want to conceal.”
At this point I saw a few students rise from their stupor. “Imagine this: you were thinking something about someone that you wouldn’t want them to hear, and by some miracle they happened to hear your thoughts like that twisted vampire you teenagers are so crazy about!”
Some of the girls shouted “Edward!” The class giggled.
The teacher now had the class’s undivided attention. Taking this opportunity, she quickly continued, “So like I was saying, this world would be the target of turmoil if that happened… I mean, freedom of thought is every individual’s right, everyone thinks without thinking, do they not?”
A murmur of acceptances ran through the class. “So I have an interesting assignment for you all, whenever someone annoys you or when you are angry with anyone, say your siblings, parents, friends or teachers, and you are thinking horrid thoughts about them; imagine for a moment that your mental barriers have been shattered and they can hear you… would you want them to hear you? Try thinking aloud. Believe me it will change the whole way you interrelate with others.”
“Ma’am are you going to give marks on this?” some nerds in the class asked,
“No dear, it’s just a practical ‘fun’ thing to apply in daily life”.
“Oh,” she said.
I thought ‘Ugh! She is a nerd.’ Immediately I was reminded of our project. This was going to be weird.
When I got home my cousin Zoha was home from a shopping excursion, bubbling with excitement, she couldn’t wait to show me the clothes she had bought and, of course, to enlighten me with her incredible tales of haggling over the prices. “So what do you think of my dress?” she held up a ghastly green dress.
‘I wouldn’t be seen dead in it’ I said to myself but to her I said, “Wow I love the colour! It’s so drab… I mean delectable.”
She beamed, “I know and I got it so cheap you wouldn’t believe it!!”
‘Oh I believe it!’ I thought, but sweetly turned to her and said, “Really. You can hardly tell!”
She brightened up, “I know! You go ahead and try it out!”
‘What?’ I decided to open up my mental barriers, “Err… actually I don’t really want to try it out.” A hurt look crossed her face as her face fell. ‘This is impossible; I can’t hurt her like this!’
I gritted my teeth and said, “On second thought it really wouldn’t hurt to try it out!” Thinking aloud definitely wasn’t a good idea in this case.
My elder sister Ayesha is kind of obsessed with her kitchen skills nowadays, which means that we have to taste her experiments — unfortunately most of them are not edible!
“Eesha come taste my ‘forest casserole’.”
I looked at the jumbled collection of vegetables with a charred smothering of cheese ‘Is this forest muck? I swallowed “Am I supposed to eat it?”
She glared at me. Impatiently she filled a large bowl with her casserole, thrust a fork in it and shoved it in my hands, “Now eat!”
I whimpered inwardly, ‘Oh dear I would rather eat mom’s spinach.’
She growled threateningly “You don’t want to eat my casserole? Do you think it’s not delicious?”
‘That sounds about right!’
She thundered “Well?”
I shook my head muttering “No, of course not.” Mustering up my courage I deposited a forkful into my mouth. Tears gushed from my eyes and I gasped. ‘Too much chilli!’ was the last thing I thought before I ran to the washroom and threw up… What I thought about it afterwards, is not fit to be printed.
“So girls! How was your experience? Aren’t you glad our brains protect our thoughts?” the teacher asked in the next class.
Reja held up her hand “Ma’am I think it’s a huge blessing, I mean it was mind-blowing once I pondered on whether other people should hear my thoughts or not! It would have been a disaster.”
The teacher smiled, “Quite rightly spoken. Now everyone I want your practical journals today! No excuses”
Breath stuck in my throat ‘I forgot about the cursed journal.’
The pile on the teacher’s desk grew. She stared expectantly at me, “Eesha may I have your journal?”
‘I am dead today!’ “Um… actually… I uhh…”
Her soft gaze turned stony, “You didn’t forget it, did you?”
I gulped, crossing my fingers “Uhh not exactly … I just ran out of pages so I had to buy a new one and, I swear, I’ll hand it in tomorrow!”

That’s when she glared at me and said “What did you say?”
