National Testing Services NTS failure in Commonwealth Scholarship 2014

Islamabad- Sana Mirza, National Testing Services NTS corruption has been reported in recently conducted test for Commonwealth Scholarship program here in Pakistan for the year 2014.NTS arranged test in all major centers of the Country by sending Admit cards to candidates at their home.
NTS charges normally Rs.800 from the candidates as test fees. Most of the graduate & Master students always claimed NTS to be as dough Fish.This time mostly students are claiming that they have marked right choices which they are confident enough as NTS this year updated its policy & issued a carbon copy of marked answer sheet right after the test.However candidates can check & compare answers with the answer key on nts website, next day of the TEST.

NTS is totally winding up people through showing fairness via cutting seal of Exam books through any candidates, issuing multiple color books and shuffle it in the testing room and through carbon copy of answer sheets.Candidates are slagging off NTS this time by saying that they have remembered some answers which they marked 100% correct are showing wrong on Answer key at website.The carbon copy or Answer sheet has only marked options like A.B.C.D.E nothing else.You can't say anything about Question no 36 as its right option might be A or might be E.So in the same manner one of the candidate among who appeared in Commonwealth Scholarship 2014 is whining that he has remembered that he has marked Q.2 as D but he got shocked when he saw right answer was A on NTS website's answer key.

Credibility of NTS has always seemed to be as issue.News groups and peoples are always nagging NTS performance on the basis of merit.Recent teachers selection for Public colleges and universities is example of what NTS is doing under Public sector umbrella.

Now everyone is demanding NTS should be privatize or test like common wealth & recruitment test for Public sector should be conducted via any private testing services (3rd Umpire). So no one will bicker on its failure.

Bangladesh beat India after Sachin's 100th

The must-anticipated 100th international century by Sachin Tendulkar went in vain as India lost to Bangladesh by five wickets in their Asia Cup encounter on Friday.

Opening the innings for Bangladesh, Tamim hit his second consecutive half-century. Praveen Kumar gave India an early breakthrough, picking up the wicket of Nazimmudin (5 off 15). But Jahurul, playing his 8th match, mixed aggression with caution. He got to his maiden fifty, before being caught at mid-wicket by Rohit Sharma off Ravindra Jadeja.
Hossain picked up where Jahurul left, clobbering the Indian bowlers from the outset. The wicket of Tamim although gave India a chance to claw their way back, an onslaught by Shakib took the game away from them. His partnership of 68 off just 48 balls with Hossain turned the game in Bangladesh favour.
Huge blows (3 fours, 3 sixes) by skipper Rahim towards the end of the innings sealed the victory for the home side. Indian bowlers went for plenty in death overs, leaking 36 runs off the last 14 balls.
Earlier, Sachin reached the much-awaited 100th century. A sigh of relief was palpable on the face of the veteran batsman who kissed the India emblem on his helmet after waving his bat towards his teammates.
He and Virat Kohli, who came together after the dismissal of Gautam Gambhir (11), shared 147 runs for the second wicket before Kohli was bowled by Abdur Razzak for 66. Suresh Raina was sent ahead of Rohit and the left-hander wasted no time in displaying his array of attacking strokes. His 51 off 38 balls gave the much-needed impetus to the Indian innings, which seemed to have lost momentum as Tendulkar neared the milestone. Rohit was run out while stealing a two at death.
Skipper Dhoni remained unbeaten on 21, along with Jadeja who contributed with 4. Mashrafe Mortaza, who picked up the wickets of Raina and Tendulkar in consecutive deliveries, was the best bowler for Bangladesh.
India will play archrival Pakistan, who have already reached the final, in a must-win game on Sunday.

So the time which were waiting for almost a year came to end.Sachin made his century of 100s against Bangladesh in Asia Cup 2012.For this milestone he got failure lot of times in a year, falling in nervous 90 s lots of time.

Recently the news of "Acid thrown by Girl named Nabeela on her boy friend Mohsin face in Faisalabad" is shocking for every one across Pakistan.It is Pakistan's first case of this nature which came on media.Same type of case were seen in Indian Punjab Batala where a jilted girl allegedly threw acid on the private parts of her boy friend after he refused to marry her in Kahnuwan road area of Gurdaspur district.Jagdish Kumar, who was having an affair with Dalbir Kaur of the same area, was supposed to get married.When Jagdish went to Dalbir's house she allegedly threw acid on his private parts injuring him seriously.
Recently a Pakistani filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy has won Oscar award for making a film on issues of acid thrown by man on women faces in Pakistan.But now everyone is saying that he or she will going to make a film but victim will change.Some Sharmeen's fans are appealing her to make a film on mans who got burn their faces after woman throws acids on his face.
Besides all things it is point of notice that if man do a crime every one see him as a criminal with red eyes.But when female do crime people will consider it as a fun & comedy.Crime is crime & we should not appreciate anybody for doing wrong thing.
The girl in Faisalabad named Nabila confessed her crime to the police as she said that boy named Mohsin had a sexual relation with her.No one is asking Innocent girl Nabila that how come she allowed him for such nasty things.Islam do not allow male & female friendship before marriage.I think now both of them should got hit 80 hunters each according to Islamic laws & teachings for doing sex before marriage.Also media should play sensible role on this type of serious issues.They should not appreciate crime either done by weaker person.
Also we should have to think on point that how could such types of dangerous acids are easily available in market that it is using as a washroom cleaner.Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy should make a documentary film that how & where these acid are made and there should be any rules & regulations for making these acids.If she want to remove bushes she has to cut down it's roots Also there should be check & balance how could Alcohol is banned & Acids are easily available across Pakistan.

Girl throws acid on boyfriend's face in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Setting a new trend contrary to what have been the conventional stories of acid attacks in country, a girl threw acid on her boyfriend in Faisalabad, leaving the boy critically injured who was shifted to hospital shortly after the incident, reports SAMAA Sunday.

On one hand, the incidents of acid throwing have been on rise in Pakistan for some decades while the orthodox attacks, on the other hand, seem to have put on an alarming guise wherein only the girls/women being victimized in such cases has not been traditional anymore – as Nabila of Faisalabad, having flown into rages over some personal disputes, splashed acid on the face of her 21-year boyfriend Mohsin in Marzipura area of Faisalabad.

The ill-fated Mohsin, who was accused of harassing his girlfriend Nabila, was rushed to hospital in critical state, police said.    

According to police, Nabila said her boyfriend raped her several times and was also boasting of in front of his friends all what he did with her.

Later on, to a question regarding the recently legislated sentence of acid throwing that is ‘life imprisonment’, Nabila told journalists she was prepared to embrace any kind of punishment for what she did.

Moshin is under treatment at a local hospital and is in state of unconsciousness at this time, hospital sources said.

Area DSP Ashiq Jutt told journalists that accused Nabila in her statement had told police that not only did Mohsin keep raping her but also demanding money and gifts from her.

Pakistan Wins International Cyber Drill between 28 countries

Pakistan Wins International Cyber Drill

Pakistan has marked victory in International Cyber Drill Competition, the competition was based on tricks and techniques regarding “Cyber Security and how to secure systems from hackers and hack attacks”. Pakistan took part in the drill for the first time and beaten experts from 28 other countries.
Ammar Jaffri, President at Pakistan Information Security Association ” Pakistan took part in this cyber drill for the first time and won”.
President at Pakistan Information Security Association was founded in 2005 to educate people on immediate response on hacking attacks. Four members from Pakistan Information Security Association and four students from National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) took part in the drill and successfully blocked hacking attacks from different hackers.

Marvi rejected PTI's Media secretary post

 

Appointment of Ms. Marvi Memon as the Central Information Secretary Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

I am pleased to appoint Ms. Marvi Memon as the Central Information Secretary of PTI wuth immediate effect.
Ms. Memon would report directly to the Chairman. She would be overall incharge of all information and media management operations of the party including the Central Media Cell based in Islamabad. All provincial Information secretaries as well as spokespersons would perform in coordination with the Central Information Secretary.
In addition to her responsibilities as the Central Information Secretary, Ms. Memon would also be the Member of the Parliamentary Board to be set up to select the PTI candidates for the Nation and Provincial Assemblies.
In order to streamline the media and information related operations, Ms. Memon would be fully authorized to restructure the entire media and information related PTI management and operations structure at the Central and Provincial levels. She would also manage all national and international youth, think tank, policy related wings to contribute to the information analysis gathering, producing, disseminating and projecting effort for PTI including quick response teams.
All media related expenses would be incurred from a separate bank account to be established to manage the  information and media management operations. The media bank account would be operated jointly by the Finance Secretary and the Central Information Secretary.

"After that all Drama by Marvi Memon on Sana Bucha Show , atlast we have seen that letter. Letter has cuttings on it, its not on letter head of PTI, so it looks very much a draft letter and not the finalized version.
There were some negotiations with Marvi Memon and some draft letter might also be issued but then Khawja Saad Rafiq approached Marvi and things did not went well between Marvi and PTI and no final letter was issued to her.Now she is using that draft version for her stunts and luckily she has services of Sana Nawaz Bucha Sharif. "

Pentagon says that NATO supplies from Pakistani airspace never stopped

Pentagon says that the air supply routes for NATO forces in Afghanistan were never closed by Pakistan.
Pentagon press secretary, George Little during a briefing Thursday said "only ground lines of communications were closed following the November 26 incident" adding that these ground routes had not been reopened yet. "We are hopeful that they would be reopened soon," he observed while conceding that it is a decision for the Pakistani government to make.
" Pakistan had closed down these routes in protest after the November 26 NATO airstrikes on Salala check-post in Mohmand Agency that killed 24 Pakistani soldiers”.
It may be mentioned here that following the closure of ground supply routes from Pakistan, United States has shifted the bulk of supply for NATO forces in Afghanistan through the northern supply routes from Central Asian states. "Although this route proves costlier for US, but at present almost 70 percent of NATO supplies are being transported through this route".
In a separate briefing, US State Department spokesperson, Victoria Nuland was asked about Pakistani foreign ministry spokesperson s statement that the US authorities and their embassy in Islamabad had been apprised of concerns over the discussion on Balochistan in Washington. Ms. Nuland, however, expressed ignorance about any such development. "I am unaware about this. We have not been intimated anything officially by Pakistan in this regard," she pointed out.
A subcommittee of the US Congress Foreign Relations Committee had held a hearing on the killings and human rights violations  in Balochistan on Wednesday. The State Department spokesperson, though, had distanced the administration from the said hearing on Wednesday as well in response to another question.
"The Congress holds hearings on many foreign affairs topics. These hearings don’t necessarily imply that the US government endorses one view or another view. I would underscore that the State Department is not participating or involved in this hearing," she had argued while clearly stating that the US administration was not supporting demands for an independent Balochistan.

Nawaz Sharif says No consensus on 20th amendment without independent EC

Chief of his own faction Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has categorically said that the government could not evolved consensus on 20th amendment unless it meets his party’s demand of independent election commission. He was talking to media in Bahawalpur on Wednesday. While replying to a query, former prime minister said that he supported formation of Bahawalpur province as it had nothing to do with ethnicity. When asked to comment on Prime Minister Gilani's remarks that Bahawalpur province was not viable, Nawaz said Gilani could not stick to his remarks. He said that general election should be held as earlier as it could be because it was in the interest of the government.
