Petition filed to register ‘treason’ case against Jang and Geo Group

WEB DESK – The Lahore High Court (LHC) moved to register case of treason against Mir Shakilur Rehman, Jang Group and Geo Television Network for maligning the national security institute over alleged murder attempt on Hamid Mir. A petition was filed in LHC on Monday by one Sardar Aftab in which the petitioner maintained that inquiry on Hamid Mir’s alleged murder attempt was not even initiated and the group started maligning Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) for it. The petitioner also stated in the petition that Jang and Geo Group were trying to sabotage the integrity of ISI and Pakistan Army.
