Bungle in recruitment test by Federal Commission

Karachi (Reuters) Young people protested today outside Press Club Karachi for mismanagement in FPSC recruitment test for the post of stenographers (BS-16) on 6 December 2013 at Vocational Training Center, Jacob Line Saddar Karachi. There were 20-25 persons demanding either to give them back their test fees or take action against the invigilators who recruited test.
Candidates told Humari News that they were preparing for it about 4 months. They paid test fees plus private training fees for preparation for the test but on the day of test FPSC has done totally Bungle in recruitment process. It was all pre-planned, seats were already sold and for just completing mock process FPSC invited candidates from all over province Sindh.Persons from interior Sindh were very angry as their transportation expense gone in vain
FPSC advertised this post via different newspapers couples of months ago and then post-ponded test earlier due to some reason. Advertisement was appeared as  . Case no: F.4-101/2013-R (Adv no: 08/2013) both on papers and FPSC website.

FPSC always took heavy  fees in the name of recruitment process but did same as above many times. This is not new, but today a guy from Jacobabad tried to burn himself as a protest outside Karachi Press Club as he was claiming his test preparation and recruitment test went too much good but he can't expect anything from FPSC as they have made him fool.

According to candidates it was totally CB based test means Computer based but their were no back up generators available at test center. Test started at 12 noon and it should went to 3 'O' clock but at 2 pm they requested candidates to shut down PC's because it was time for loadshedding and they are going to start generator but their generator not started till 2:15 and they offered candidates cup of tea and took them to separate room.According to candidates they are just making fool to them and FPSC employees were not starting generators might be they are coping work of best candidates to paste it on the sheets of persons who Paid them GOSH.
Meanwhile at 2:45 they got again access to PC's where candidates again started giving test.At 3:15 they ordered all of them to stop working and told them that their is no need to print or apply password on MS EXCEL and MS WORD as both are mandatory on Question sheet, just rename the folder name with thier concern roll numbers.A guy protested on it and raised the question that it will be totally insecure & anyone can easily change the folder name with his roll number. But FPSC employees forced him out and said if he has not have any trust on their selection process that he can easily complain to Head office or can go to police station but they will not allow him to print file or apply password on file.
It was noted that FPSC Islamabad issued 4 separate blank sheet which top corner included column of Name,Roll number, Center name and Signature of the candidate which has to fill completely by candidate and then he has to print typing and software test on it but FPSC Karachi regional recruitment staff made everyone fool and took signature plus everything filled by candidates before starting of the test.
Candidates are looking forward to file Case in Sindh High Court.

Real "WAAR" agaisnt India

Said to be the most expensive Pakistani film ever to be made, WAAR the film is rumoured to be partly funded by the military, a charge denied by the film director Bilal Lashari. The film is about Pakistan's fight against terror & first time someone like Bilal Lashari has showed courage to show the world reality how India is interfering in Pakistan through its spy agency RAW. It was a big risk taken by Bilal Lashari (Director of film "Waar") as Pakistan film industry was already at the corner of danger & people are hesitating to buy tickets of every newly made lollywood film. The script revolves around a plot by 'Indian agents' to carry out the biggest ever blast in PakistanWaar opened on Wednesday on 42 screens across Pakistan and set a new record of box-office collections pertaining to Eid openings. After a first day opening of Rs 11.4 million the big budget flick earned a total of Rs 42.6 million till Friday night, breaking all previous records of Eid collections.Waar has also broken first day record set by King Khan's Chennai Express that had earned around nine million rupees on Eid-ul-Fitr .The film has received marvelous response from film critics but has been smashed by many ultra-nationalists in India who blame Pakistan for all terror or assassinations that take place in India. "Waar is a wonderful response by Bilal Lashari to those Indians who even blame Pakistan for increasing Indian Population growth" - Zaid Hamid wrote it on his twitter   Not only that, the film also showed the bitter reality that how the dreaded Pakistani Taliban is controlled by India. Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, a three Emmy and an Oscar award-winning Pakistani-Canadian documentary filmmaker tweeted, "#waar has cliches but so do Indian movies v go 2 c- whether you like the film or not, watch it for the sake of supporting local talent and see how RAW & CIA is involving in whole scenario." Waar is a story about a retired army officer who had taken an early retirement from the forces due to personal reasons. This lead role is played by one of Pakistan's top actor Shaan.A special task force of the police is trying to tackle terrorism and none but the retired Major Ehtesham can lead such a complicated operation to get rid of the chemical bomb. The villain is a female RAW agent, who works as a social worker by day and honey-traps willing politicians by nights, and a mercenary who crosses into Pakistan from India across the LoC. The hype around the movie has ensured that theatres are packed. Though one could see occasional claps in the theatre, many also came out not impressed.
"My tuppence on #Waar: Brilliantly shot & visually appealing w/a hauntingly beautiful background score. If only the script/screenplay," Maria Memon, a senior TV anchor tweeted.  An interesting thing seen about  Waar is that It has hit Indian Population too. Indian top-notch media like Times of India is highlighting it more than any bollywood movie.
Times of India giving hype to Pakistani film Waar

Waar popularity in India can be viewed by watching this long clip of 14 minutes duration- a role of gutter press by Indian News Channel

Indian Media are covering 15-20 minutes of its Prime time in highlighting Roaring Pakistani film WAAR & if we will see Pakistani News channel they are always busy in highlighting bollywood celebrities birthday and their affairs.
According to our sources Bilal Lashari has said that Waar was ready in 2012 but due to force of external sources its release got delayed. Bilal received several threatening calls for not releasing it but Bilal Lashari said He is a true Pakistani and want to die for the sake of his homeland- if their is a truth behind anything his camera will show world exact what it is.

Pakistani Press should learn something from Waar- I must say it's true presentation of what Pakistani media should do- A real message & real foreign Policy from a film like Waar - Pakistani Journalist Tallat Hussain on his Facebook fan page

National Testing Services NTS failure in Commonwealth Scholarship 2014

Islamabad- Sana Mirza, National Testing Services NTS corruption has been reported in recently conducted test for Commonwealth Scholarship program here in Pakistan for the year 2014.NTS arranged test in all major centers of the Country by sending Admit cards to candidates at their home.
NTS charges normally Rs.800 from the candidates as test fees. Most of the graduate & Master students always claimed NTS to be as dough Fish. This time mostly students are claiming that they have marked right choices which they are confident enough as NTS this year updated its policy & issued a carbon copy of marked answer sheet right after the test. However candidates can check & compare answers with the answer key on nts website, next day of the TEST.

NTS is totally winding up people through showing fairness via cutting seal of Exam books through any candidates, issuing multiple color books and shuffle it in the testing room and through carbon copy of answer sheets.Candidates are slagging off NTS this time by saying that they have remembered some answers which they marked 100% correct are showing wrong on Answer key at website. The carbon copy or Answer sheet has only marked options like A.B.C.D.E nothing else. You can't say anything about Question no 36 as its right option might be A or might be E.So in the same manner one of the candidate among who appeared in Commonwealth Scholarship 2014 is whining that he has remembered that he has marked Q.2 as D but he got shocked when he saw right answer was A on NTS website's answer key.

Credibility of NTS has always seemed to be as issue.News groups and peoples are always nagging NTS performance on the basis of merit.Recent teachers selection for Public colleges and universities is example of what NTS is doing under Public sector umbrella.

Now everyone is demanding NTS should be privatize or test like common wealth & recruitment test for Public sector should be conducted via any private testing services (3rd Umpire). So no one will bicker on its failure.

No Interview

It’s a common perception in job market that if a person looking for a job get no response , find hurdles, receives NO INTERVIEW CALL, or if interview but get NO RESPONSE from employer .After all these dilemma everyone starts thinking about Personal Reference & about SIFARISH. I think being entrepreneur or Owner of firm no one will like to hire garbage even he will not like to allow his nephew who doesn’t have enough qualification & ability to push his business on the path of glory. Only incompetent people do – an incompetent HR manager will do this & incompetent applicant will think about it.
Before applying for any job you should review our abilities and qualities in yourself. You should know what you can do easily to make yourself profitable & can earn your bread & butter.  It is a universal fact that “Golden ticket to an interview is your resume”. It is your “Invitation Card” & if even one thing written in your resume makes screener off, it will be heaved into the reject pile.
Following are the typical reasons as agreed by the most Hiring Managers for refusing any application.
1.       Unprofessional layout – Clutter, fancy fonts, artwork and inconsistent alignment reflect poorly on your professional image.
2.       Unattractive photograph- If you don’t look like Tom Cruise or Maria Sharapova then you should try to avoid off your resume if pic is not mandatory demanded by employer.
3.       Descriptive resume-    Keep your resume to SINGLE page. If you have more than 10 year of experience than you can think about to exceed to TWO pages. Don’t write description about your previous work coz no one want to read your whole story before interview as interview means to evaluate yourself.
4.       Mismatched profile- Resumes are typically shortlisted by junior staff so don’t assume they will be able to decipher your wording. Your education and experience should match according to the vacancy.
Keep in mind that getting interview response is basically a numbers game. For every 50 organizations you apply to, you can get response from only One organization.

WISH YOU GOOD LUCK FOR YOUR CAREER

Unique Marriage - Bride took her baraat to the groom's house

INDORE: Rajni, a 25-year-old law student, dressed in best bridal finery, mounted a horse and took her baraat (marriage procession) to the groom's house through her village. After an hour-long marriage procession and dancing on the streets, she went to mandap (pandal) and asked the groom to marry her.

Unbelievable though it may sound, but that is exactly what happened at a marriage in Satwara village of Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh.

The unique tradition — 'Kanya Ghatari' — which was practised by the Patidar community, wherein the bride takes her baraat to the groom's place, had long been forgotten, was brought alive. Senior members of the community endorsed Rajni's initiative to revive the age old tradition and lavished praise on her.

Rajni, who got married two days ago, initially felt a little awkward at the idea of riding a horse and taking the baraat to the groom's place. "I realized that the idea was to empower women and this practice would certainly eradicate many evils in the society," she said.

Bride goes on horse to groom's house, asks for his hand
Normally, boys consider it their birth right to take out the baraat. But for Praveen Patidar, 30, a state government employee, seeing his wife coming to marry him on a horse was a matter of pride.

Groom's father Ishwarlal Patel said that even on the wedding card that was printed a month ago, there was a message of women empowerment. He said his family wished that their daughter-in-law would take her baraat to their house.

About the tradition, he said first the bride was offered coconut by her parents. After completing the ritual, the girl mounted the horse and led the baraat from her house, which after passing from the narrow lanes of village, reached the groom's place.

The girl then came up to the mandap (pandal) on the horse and proposed the groom, asking him whether he would marry her. Waiting family members of the groom welcomed the bride. Thereafter, the marriage was solemnized.
